Kernel Kat cat litter is made from totally organic raw material, its capability as a cat litter is unsurpassed. Supreme absorbency and its powerful odour binding properties mean its ideal for indoor as well as outdoor cats lasting up to 5 x longer than other eco and non eco cat litters. As well as keeping your home or office free from nasty smells it provides real cost efficiency through its long lasting capability. Another great advantage of the product is its non-tracking feature meaning no more messy paw prints or dust on your floor or carpet.
"Having tried and tested Kernel Kat I'm already desperate to get hold of some more of their litter. I never realised how dusty our old litter was until comparing it to this one... My old litter is nowhere near as good!" - Marc-André Runcie-Unger, editor of Katzenworld

We have a 19 year old cat, who is not in the best of health and was finding it difficult, due to her arthritis, to use the clay based litter, which she has used for most of her life. We have over the years, tried wood and paper based litters, but the premium brand was always the one of choice.
Then, we discovered Kernal Kat during a recent visit to Woodside Animal Centre. How this visit changed the way we see cat litter! Clean, no 'tracking' of litter across our floors, odour free and kind to our cat's feet.
Urine is instantly 'trapped' and formed into a quite solid clump which is then easily removed and flushed down the toilet. Yes...as Kernal Cat is organic and easily biodegraded, then it can be easily flushed down the toilet!!
This makes a bag of litter, quite long lasting compared to clay based litters. We initially purchased a 5 litre bag, but after a highly successful 'trial' we have now purchased a 20 litre bag which should last us a couple of months!!!
With performance and convenience like this, then arguably this definitely for us is The Best Litter Around.
The only minor niggle would be that I am unable to purchase locally, however with on-line ordering and free delivery, this isn't really an issue.

This is by far the best cat litter on the market. I've pretty much tried everything going over the years.
I have 2 indoor cats that share a tray. It's in the bathroom so flushable clumping litter is the easiest to keep clean.
This one keeps the odors to a minimum and makes good clumps for scooping.
When the litters new it stays in the pan quite nicely with minimal tracking, but after the cats have been using it a week it turns into fine dust & that's when it's time to swap it out or it goes everywhere. It's not cheap either so I recommend not using too much st once as you will end up throwing it all out in a week anyway. Having said that, it's no different to any other flushable litter in that respect, they all track badly after a week, and this is by far the least messiest.
I have a top opening tray which cuts back on some of the mess & can highly recommend.

I am a fosterer for cats protection and use an indoor room. This litter does exactly what it say. Good clumping, excellent odour control, hardly any tracking and safe for kittens. I have not had to do a complete litter change for over 2 weeks and still there is no urine smell like you get with other top brand litters. Obviously there will be an odour when puss has just done a no2!. The clumping is excellent which makes it a very cost effective product. I am trialling it compared to our normal wood based product to see how long it lasts and the cost comparison. So far I have to say that it seems to be a very good product and I would recommend.
